Printing on glass

Did my first test print on glass today. After the glass cooled off the prints popped right off the glass, no fighting with them. Will need to work on the leveling, the thickness of the glass is pushing the leveling screws to their limits, the one side of the brim was quite thin. I printed spectators because if my leveling was way off, their bases are small.

that's all I print on works like a charm, I went to the dollar store and picked up a certificate frame the glass is thin so the leveling screws aren't pushed to hard, just use binder clips to hold it down

Hi All,

My Printer isn't an Ender but in all respects it's pretty similar
I was told to use a Scotch or UHU glues tick, it works great on my heated glass bed.
When cool, it virtually drops off

Here's a dumb question, on glass. Am about to go out and cut a piece to fit,
I don't imagine I put it on top of the mat that came with the printer?..?

Finished the printer last night, computer is 'rebuilt' clean and full of files, I understand Cura,
Getting close.

Paul if your mat is removable you will find the heat transfers better to the glass It does take a little longer to preheat but I find it very reliable using a glue stick :music-rockout:

cut a piece of tempered glass,
gotta stone down the edges and will be good to go.
And get a glue stick
