Scan quality won't be that good. I have high resolution professional scans of a full-sized race car that was virtually worthless in it's original form. I had to redraw the cobra from scratch to get a smooth and printable model. Faster and more accurate than trying to repair the scanned mesh.
(Left side shows the scanned car. Right side is the redrawn version. Note the cleaner mesh lines follow the natural flow and panel lines of the body)There are many sites that offer free 3D models - you likely can get a decent enough one for free. Or you can buy high-quality expertly modeled cars from sites like TurboSquid. Search around, you're sure to find what you're looking for - in far better quality than you can scan.
