Hi Dennis,
It really depends on what you want to print, what will it be used for and high do you want the detail
Oh and are you ok with working with resin?
Answering those questions will make it much easier to pick a 3D printer
Cheers

Hi Dennis,
I'd start by reading David's posts on his experience with the Creality Ender 3.

What I would suggest would be to download a printing program like CURA and after installation put in the printer that you are thinking of. Then place your model in the program and see how it will print out selecting the layers view. This view will show what will print completely. One thing I discovered since upgrading the CURA was that it requires a 64 bit processor which eliminates some older computers.
As far as printers go I was one of those that went the expensive route with a Lulzbot printer after having a bad experience with the cheaper type, but after reading the success that Doc and Bob have had with their Creality Ender, I won't recommend anymore. What I will recommend is the CURA program for after upgrading to the latest version of this software I've seen a big improvement in print quality.
