That thing looks brutal!

I finally got tired of fooling with that car and put a 26B from 1966 in it. I run it at 12v like a normal slot car and it runs great. That 18v nonsense is silly. All my cars, regardless of scale, run on a standard 12v, because I made them do so.
On the other hand, that is one great photo.

They do run nicely on 15v with adj power supply, but the wall-wart that comes in the set is 18v
