Peter even Enzo is reported to have stated it is one of the most beautiful cars ever built.
Your photo as always does it justice.
Nice work

I remember coming to a stop at an intersection in my '66 4.2 litre coupe years ago and seeing a pretty young lady's jaw drop as she looked my way. I liked to thing that it was I that provoked that reaction, but deep down, I knew better.

I first looked at the second shot and laughed, some fool put a slot on a 1:1 road
Your skill with the camera is top shelf, and the track looks nice
I have the yellow Jag not much of a fan of these cars but you make them look great

There's something about the sleek lines of the E-Type that has never been duplicated; probably never will. Gorgeous car!
Of course, when the motor decided to go South, which happened not infrequently, you had about 11 ft. of timing chain in a bucket to deal with...............................

Never had a problem with the engine, but I could knock the three carbs out of whack in about 15 minutes. I got very good at re-tuning.

This restored e-type just fetched $297,000 at the Sotheby's Driven to Disruption auction in NYC last week. I've never seen an E-Type go anywhere near that high. Nice restoration and all but Dang!
My 66 FHC is not nearly in as good a shape as the above but it's still running great after 42 years owning it. Just last Wednesday the wife's mini needed a day in the shop leaving us a car short. I hopped in the E-type and drove on to work- in the rain. The new owner of the above classic will likely miss that type of fun.
