I hope not. I would rather see more actual race cars in the scale. Instead of the "How Wheels" versions it would be nice to see more scale attempts at the old coupes.
But to each their own.

I agree. I would prefer not to have the monster motor sticking out but it's all I had. I was mainly speaking of the body and the patina paint but again, you gotta work with what you have.

Sorry no.. no more hotrods. They don't sell in Germany and sold only "ok" here. We cannot only sell them here and make enough sales of them. I'm sorry, I appreciate the excitement about them but... I don't see it ever happening.

If doing 1/24 is any consideration given to Chaparrals, especially the 2E, Ford GT's and similiar cars? I assume these are among the best selling 1/32 cars and collector issues?

OMG never lol... sorry to be so blatant but no. Never sell in Europe, no one besides a few people know what they are here and they're only 1 car per number... and all white.

You have to understand that for a mold, any mold, you have to get 4-5-6 decorations for a mold. For a Chaparral there's 1 mold per racecar number...

How about the new Porsche Cayman GT4, Dave? Lots of them around now in the IMSA Conti Challenge series and in Europe....................

My guess is that the Cayman GT4 is already in the works based on European racing alone.

I tried to get the local group interested in the Carrera hot rods, but nobody nibbled. Tried to get them interested in the 57 chevy and 60 fury NASCARS, but no go there either. We did race the Kafers, and i hope we do that again, they are cool. I wish Carrera made 1/24 F1 cars again, but oh well.

I second that F-1 in 1:24 would be great. Open wheel touching could lead to some interesting wrecks though, so the wings would have to be able to detach without breaking yet be held in place enough to not fall out while racing. That would be an engineering marvel, but if anyone could pull it off, Carrera could.

Well, they did it in 1/32. Both the new F1 and Formula E models are pretty tough. The wings/spoilers detach quite easily. My grandkids have raced these Formula E models and they have a few scrapes and scars, but still intact.
