That's a neat looking race car. Where did you use to run it? Was it a commercial track or was it at a club/home location?

Nice, Todd. It's amazing what a good road course slot car chassis (and motor, for that matter) used to look like.
No home ground Graupner rear rubber for you - Hush Puppy slicks - that's awesome!
The model/slot car magazines of the 1960s where full of builds like these, right?
Some cringe when comparing this type of car to today's speed sleds riding 1/16" above the track.
I think it's cool, and thanks for sharing the photo of what state of the art was back in the day.
