Tamiya masking tape for the lines and over the bonnet. I rubbed it down well and brushed a thin coat of clear over the the seams to minimise bleeding.
Clear coat at the end (several) I used a piece of paper held down with blue tac to mask the bonnet when I sprayed the gloss clear as I wanted a matt finish on the bonnet.
I find clear coat over silver one of the hardest things to get right - so far Testors gloss has given the best result - I had run out for this car so it has an acrylic gloss over it.
