I have been having fits getting this thing done, using a body from one of the new AMT repops I did a review on a few weeks back. Of course, the AMT chassis was a complete toss out. This is an old Pro Track brass chassis, and I'll tune it more later. But right now, its finally together, terrible decals, finicky red stripe and all. These decals are so delicate (some peeled off already and had to be Future'd back on), I will race the heck out of this one, besides, look at that nerf whacker hanging behind the rear axle. A car this long has serious battle potential.

Oh yes sir, you did great. This is one of the most perfect cars ever. Not that I am biased or anything :)

Hey Rob that looks killer! Great work. From where Im sitting the decals look great. So whos decals were they for future reference? What was your motor choice in this one?

I tried to find where those decals came from, but I can't find it. I bought them from Southern Motorsports, I think, which would make them Fred Cady, but I have used his decals many times for many years and never had a mess like this.

I appreciate the kind words, guys. It took forever to get this thing off my table. Ever build one for so long you're sick of it? I almost got there with this one. Runs great, though.

Greg, I just remembered you asked about the motor. Sorry to have ignored that. Its a Lightning II H&R I had in my box from a swap out some time ago. Normally, that's too much motor for my purposes, but with this kind of body weight, it seemed likely to be right, and sure enough, its smooth and fast. I think I'll do the same for a huge Oldsmobile Delta 88 I have a kit for.

On the wheels, did you do an insert on the pro tracks? I like 'em!
