Picked up this model, its a Monogram from 1968 and I just thought it was a great idea for a new slot car



It has surf boards and scuba gear that goes on the truck, and a 60's hippy gogo band that rides in the back I did not add them



the build was easy I reamed some carrera bushings to 1\8 and made an axle bracket from styrene, its all hot glue



It runs the track better than I thought, its a little top heavy

I could use this thing right now, getting rid of the "trash" is all I have been doing this morning :)

Let's have a thread that is all pictures of crazy creations. Jon's trash truck, my Zamboni track cleaner (there have been several track cleaners), somebody did a car that was an animal of some kind years ago, Dyno Tom's F-104 based Land Speed Record car, etc.

Now that is taking out the trash in Style!!!!
