Just getting back into home racing and want to purchase a new Carrera 1/32 set because they also support the 1/24 scale. I need everything BUT the 1/32 cars. So, should just buy the set and then resell the unused cars OR is there a way to get the track w/o the cars in the first place? Thanks in advance, Brent

Unless you find a used one, yep just get a new set and sell the cars. Many folks have.

If you want to go digital, then you can purchase the Carrera DIGITAL 124 Youngtimer Showdown which comes with two 1/24 slot cars and track borders.

Watch Ebay for a used track lot. Should be able to get more track for the same money and not bother with cars. Most of what I have came from used lots on ebay.

I have enough pieces of track with the stock power and controllers I'd sell if your interested.
I basically did what you did, but I never used controllers or power and went with aftermarket controller and power.

PM me and I can get you a list of what I have available, more than enough to get a set together.

If planning on running CARRERA 1/24 cars you will need a Carrera 1/24 power supply[18v] or an adjustable aftermarket power supply. All other brands of 1/24 cars are 12v and will run good on the stock Carrera 1/32 power supply that comes in the 1/32 sets.

IF you shop around there are Carrera Dealers who will sell you a new set AND deduct the price of the 2 smaller 1/32 cars you dont need or want! Just bought a new set last week for $49 off list! :dance:
