Well I'm a 59 year old kid and still have to check out the toys at our local Wallyworld.Spotted this $10 New Bright RC Daytona,1/24 scale.Thought that would make a cool slot car,and cheap too..By the way,a warning about these, if your planning on buying them as a cheap RC car for the kids..Don't..This one didn't work out of the package..Wouldn't turn and the motor wires came off by just touching them..
We gutted the RC board, lowered the body, removed the motor from the front that they were using as a servo.Cleaned out the battery case.Installed an H&R guide, added weight to the now empty battery compartment. Now we have a fun to drive ,cheap Daytona..Does this compare to what others are building here? Of course not.. :) ;) We are already planning on building another.Cheap, and fun,my kind of a date.....

That is cool Rusty! :music-rockout: I have seen them at the store before. That is the best use for a cheapo RC car.

That's cool, like its proportions,
I looked today, our Wally doesn't have any birds...
