Wanted a 1/24th Ferrari 458 to run against my Falken Tire and Flying Lizard Porsches, Corvette, Ferrari 575 etc without swapping motors etc on all of the cars. The body is a Revell Ferrari 458 Italia. I used a Corvette chassis with ortman's on the rear and the corvette wing. (what is the best method to strip the wing)? I run these cars with all magnuts removed except for 1 magnut centered in the forward position and run them on 15volts. Am currently using the H&R body mounts after using the nibbler to cut to size and stuck down with servo tape to the chassis. May add post to body later. As can be seen by the pictures have not painted & decaled body yet. Wanted to see if it would work. The Corvette wheelbase is almost spot on.
Haven't checked yet to see if patto's has decals to do the Daytona GT car. May do the one they took down there when they announced they were going to run in the series. Have quite a few shots of it. It has a black roof with Motorola decal in middle of top.
Forgot to mention I had to trim the undertray downforce device (Can't think of name, guess going senile) as it was to long for the Ferrari.
