Spent part of the 4th and did some painting...


Going with the Coca Cola theme on this one.
And a little bit done on the Grand Sport . . .

More pics to come just got the Coke decals today for the Porsche, the parts for the vette should be here Mon. Turned down the model rims to fit the h&r tires.

It was already swapped out with the 26k motor, the rules here in Jersey require the 26k motor. Our race is on July 27 and I will post picks of the entries and results.

Yea!
Found a hobby shop close about 35 miles away, small m&p shop in Jackson NJ, had most of what I needed like glues and round brass stock, so now as soon as the front tires get here I can start working on the h&r chassis.
I have not been in a hobby shop since I moved to Hawaii, none on the big island. That was over 9 years ago! Looks like I didnt miss much! Same old stock on the shelves.
Hope the front tires and other parts will be here tomorrow

Got my Parts!
now it is looking like a race car! Turned down the rims that came wit the kit and added lead Futured the body next up mounting the body glueing in the glass and other small parts and off to testing

Yes they do! And fun to drive running a 9 tooth pinion and a 26 tooth crown so basically no brakes! But makes it funner to dive deep and come out screaming in the turns.
