I have started and like alfa sports cars from the years 1960-70. So a year ago I built a alfa romeo 33/3 who won at Watkins Glen in 1971. This time it was the desire of a new resin body from werks, and the choice fell on an Alfa Romeo 33/2 coupe that was running at the Nurburgring 1000km in 1968. The car's model is car # 16 and was driven by Nino Vaccarella

Sister car that was running in the same race.

Primer and fabric colors painted, decals glued in place

Window panes, rims, driver pack and some little things are glued into place in the body.

I think it will be a nice model this Alfa 33/2 coupe.

continuations follow

Christer

That is just super deluxe Christer!!!! Can you send me the link so I can have a look at the resin kit. A couple of questions. Across the centre line of the rear wheel arches what is the width of the model. And the same for the front wheel arches. Im looking to race something a little different as we have a 60s LeMans class. I want to know if the car is wide enough to suit the chassis we have to use. Also how on earth did you grind out the slots on the rear of the car??

Supurb!!

cheers

33/2 is now finished :) , so tomorrow will be the test run. I'll measure the dimensions that are on the body so you get to know the wheelbase, width, front and back, waist width of the body is 58mm. I will return with the rest.
