Paul's tires have been around for a while now & I know Harry & a lot of others on this site love them.
I also know that what's good for one may not be good for the guy next door.
So before I jump on any band wagon I try & figure out if it's good for me which is not always easy to do.
But while Harry was here for Bomberfest a few weeks back I got a chance to drive a lot of the cars he builds.
It was great because they are a lot like the ones I run as far as motors, gearing ect, ect, ect.
So once home I dug out a set of Paul's tires that I had gotten some time back but never used.
I then made a few changes to Pie Wagon & put Paul's tires on it.
Since then the car has hours of track time on it & the more I drive it the better it gets.

I then got a hold of Paul for some help figuring out which tires were best for the 3 applications I needed.
After a lot of back & forth e-mails I have tires coming that I know will do just what I want them to & that's thanks to Paul's help.
He bent over backwards to make sure I got (or will get) what I needed. To me this means a lot.

So to Harry ... Thanks for letting me enjoy some of the cars you build.
And to Paul ... Thanks again for all your Help ... it means a lot.

... J Y D ...
P.S. Harry if you think this should be posted somewhere else feel free to move.

No problem Ed, my pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it.

If it were not for the grass roots folks in our hobby, it would not be as fun as it is.

JYD - absolutely fantastic to hear that they work for you. While "bellybutton" things may not be for everyone, I don't think you can go wrong with most of the advice here.

After 2 years of running on wood with stock tires and thinking it was "OK", I swapped to a set of Paul's tires and that was that. Fantastic on wood. Funny enough, fantastic on plastic track as I got to test them on Saturday.

Have fun!
