And it doesn't seem all that long ago that most mail-order hobby advertisements included the little disclaimer, " Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery."

Monogram was a big advertiser in Model Car Science magazine. I kept all mine and occasionally I
will page through some for laughs. I especially like the prices on the old slot car kits.
