Whatever is locally available and fits. Ive got an MJK Engineering LeMans chassis under my Porsche 906. It worked a treat and the team won the event.

I painted up the Lola t70 and put it on a H&R chassis, with the H&R 26k motor. That's the way we run them for our local home tracks.

Thanks DM. Just bought the last two from Tokyo Hobbies. Have bought stuff from them before. Real good prices on Fujimi Ferrari 330P4's. Get yourself the LeMans chassis from MJK Engineering. They are perfect for these bodies. The chassis is set up to run a Parma S16D or Deathstar but easy enough to put a plafit Fox or Cheetha in instead.

Sorry I have to ask, but these are the era prototype I love. Who's re-popping these bodies?
I've had conversations with a rep from Tamiya and he said there was nothing available any more. Who's got the info?
Thanks, and thanks to everyone for the great photos of their builds! -- Ernie

Ernie
They are Tamiya re-pops of their own cars
HobbyLInk Japan or Ebay is probably your best bet to find them - they were released a couple of years back
cheers

Which chassis is the "LeMans" chassis from MJK Engineering? Did not see any chassis identified as such on either the MJK or Electric Dreams websites. I have a couple of the MJK Dogbone chassis, so will try those and probably also on the H&R or new protrack metal chassis. Just did an e-bay search "tamyia slotcars" and found a couple of listings for Japan and one from San Jose, Ca for 19.99, (5 left).
