Ramjet Controllers on Digital Carrera Set

Has anyone tried a Ramjet Digital Controler from Digital Racing Solutions. I am curious if they are more sensitive than the stock Carrera plunger style. I am running 1/24 scale cars and I find I have to use full throttle to get the cars moving. They are big heavy cars. Are Ramjet controlers similar going to a lower ohm on a typical analogue set making them more sensitive?

I've used them for SCX Digital and they are a HUGE improvement over the stock SCX controllers. Way better feel in your hand and much better control over stock which are more like an on/off switch in my opinion. We have an annual 4 hr enduro and the stock controllers were always an issue but the last two with the RamJet controllers have been trouble free. Due to better control there were even less incidents on track. One of the owners is a local racer and all around good guy. (so is the other one, but up in Seattle area).
