Alright guys, Bruce (xr4ti) has completes the race today. He was solo on this one, and ran all the cars himself.

I have been forwarded the overall results and will post them when I hear a chance to format them tomorrow.

I have not received any photos, but I am hoping they will come...

Hammer Down Park is the new location of the former Silver Lane Speedway. Our host Bruce was on his own for this race, so hats off to him!

Cars were timed over 20 lap runs in all 6 lanes, that's 4560 laps :o

I do not have any notes from Bruce about driving characteristics... but I think he had enough to do. Here are the results, things look a little different throughout both classes. A little shake-up is good!

Here's a few notes I made on some of the cars:
COY #9, lack of rear grip
COY #10 lack of brakes
COY #43 fights the front end in high speed sweepers, too much front tire
COY #99 Chassis broke into 2 pieces, behind the motor. At the beginning of heat 3 after the first turn. Needs replacement chassis.
COT #5 lacks rear grip
COT #12 lacks rear grip, guide is too long, car fights against it in the tight stuff, replaced a screw that was missing
COT #17 shallow guide, R. front tire out of round, L. front screw stripped, lack of rear grip
COT #45 stripped screws

The #4 COT Frosted Flakes livery with the HRS was a pure joy to drive and the COY #83 Purex also.
Congratulations to the winners! :auto-checkeredflag:

many thanks to host XR4 for a HUGE effort to get this round done, that's a lot of laps!
also for the feedback on the COT, Congrats to Lee Thorndike for topping the podium with his COT car and to all the other s in both classes
At least a bit of improvement from the COY cars
on to round 7

Thanks for hosting and getting it done. I will be racing the cars alone as well. But I don't have but 2 lanes. On the #45 do you have an extra screw or can you drop some nail polish in the hole? Surprised by the comment on the #43. Tires are 10 years old if not older. Maybe I'll true them down a bit. #12 thanks for the screw replacement.

Congratulations to our podium finishers in both classes.

I used some blue Loctite and had a screw that matched so it should be ok.

One other thing that needs mentioned is the condition of the braid on so many of the entries.
Maybe the next host could post some picks to make my point. The heavier braid seems to be holding up well but the soft stuff is pretty hagged.
