We are all set with the track owner to do qualifying on Sunday evening (tonite) and we will run the race on Wednesday, June 5 at about 7:00PM EST. Much as I would love to drive these cars, I have a pony in the race, so I'll let the other guys take care of driving and I'll just work in the Race Director capacity.

As we have done with our other proxy races, we will use FB to hold the video and broadcast live. If you cannot watch the race live, the video is archived and can be watched on demand at any time. My FB name is Bob Boulais. If you want to send a friend request ahead of time, when the video goes live, FB will actually send you a notification to let you know that I am hosting a live video. I am a casual FB user only and have only used it to post videos, so if there are any issues on your end, I probably won't be able to help you, but sometimes if you post comments, other people might be able to help.

Thanks to BB for qualifying. Just missed the top ten. Hope it races well. Who is that sitting on the Pole, Brumos. Way to go. Got to get in that top 10 club. 8-)

Thanks for your qualifying efforts, Bob. I was elated with the 2J’s position, then very disappointed when I viewed the last pic above. At River Run, a head on crash with a guard wall during pre-race practice sheared the front body work apart. We were able to CA glue it together in time for the race. The shear lines were later reinforced with epoxy. Unfortunately the front bonnet still seems vulnerable. Though the initial fault lines seem to be holding the front impact stresses may just be transferred to other areas.

Hopefully it’ll hold together for your race but it doesn’t look like it’ll be able to withstand the rigors of the series.

Thanks for the good quali run BB - moving a little closer to mid pack where I'd hoped to be.

#4: "pinion is rubbing on tire FIX?" - I'm good with whatever Allan rules on this. Doesn't appear to be a fatal flaw so leaving it as is OK, but if an easy fix is an option (like trimming the outer points off the pinion teeth) then I'm fine with that too.

Scott - I've asked Allan for guidance and will let you know. It isn't fatal, and sooner or later it will take care of itself by wearing away rubber, but if Allan says it is ok to fix, we will do so.

Please place some duct tape across the bottom of the pod on the #20 Ferrari to try and tale some of the chatter out
