I bet that armature really sings with no attachment to anything. Isn't that how they built the Large Hadron Collider?

Yeah - she was definitely taching up!

It was interesting to drive like that as it kind of acted like something with a CV trans coming off the corners - rpms up and relatively steady while the car would steadily accelerate - so I knew something was slipping - but assumed it was the crown gear or the motor pinion was slipping - not something like this. :)

The stacks and commutator are slipping on the shaft, I have never seen that problem before. CA might not be a good fix because it de-bonds when it gets hot. I also noticed that the commutator is off center, I have also seen stacks that are off center. If it was me I would just put that armature in a shelf queen.
