Nobody's helpin' this guy out, so I'll throw this out there...

Sylvain, if memory serves, the original Aurora Culvert Bridge 9" straight ("hump") track was only made by Aurora for their original "T-Jet" or "Lock and Joiner" type track system. This being the case, you'll need two different pairs of adapter tracks for your project.
Connect them in this order -- (1) TOMY to original A/FX adapter, (2) original Aurora A/FX to original Aurora Lock and Joiner adapter, then the Aurora T-Jet "hump" track. Assemble in the reverse order to reconnect to your TOMY set up. You'll have to hunt around for the older A/FX to T-Jet type pair of
9" straight adapter tracks. You can go to <afxracing.com> and look at #70605 3" straight adapter track pair, listed at $7.99 US dollars.
They will connect TOMY track to original Aurora A/FX track, and should solve half of the adapter track equation. Of course, you'll still have to locate one of the old Aurora T-Jet "hump" tracks, if you don't have one already. You can probably find that and the earlier style 9" straight adapter tracks in good condition second hand, and probably have a good shot at finding the "Culvert Bridge" track as 'new old stock' (NOS) somewhere.
Be sure to get some clean, good condition locks and joiners ("clips and pins") to have on hand while working with the old style track sections.
They should still be available "NOS" (usually in a bag with 6 or 12 locks and 12 or 24 joiners) from online retailers for relatively reasonable prices.

***BEFORE you go through all this, let me warn you that T-Jet cars (without modern super low tires and/or added traction magnets) are probably
the ONLY CARS that have enough track clearance to navigate the "hump" track without bottoming out on the rails.
If this still sounds good to you, I'll assume that you're running "conventional" T-Jet type cars, and you might want to consider finding other unique early Aurora track sections to incorporate into the "adapter track section" of your layout. That would allow you to take full advantage of the two pairs of adapter tracks you've gone through the trouble of locating and purchasing.

I hope all of these words are of some help to you, or gives you an idea for some other design that will make your layout more enjoyable.
Good luck locating the parts you'll need for your project. Hopefully you'll find other cool stuff for your layout in the process,
and maybe meet some new friends in the hobby along the way.
Remember, the idea is to HAVE FUN !! -- ENJOY... Ernie :>)

Hi Ernie
Thanks for the answer, it was one the the options I was thinking of, you help me out with a few numbers of tracks which I was not sure, by the way, everything can be found on EBAY.
The thing who stop me it wasm i guess to many adaptor for the thing i wanted to do, however i found something else: from Tyco, you can find bridge section originally made for turbo train, then you can make a second level of track without using bridge support etc, the only thing, optional they have to be painted... They are grey.
I am running Tomy Super G plus and SRT cars.

Sylvain - I simply raised the section of my Tomy HO layout that I wanted to bridge over another section. It worked out well. Not a "hump" like the old Aurora stuff. My G+ cars did fine due to the gradual elevation changes.

Hi Ernie
thanks again to answer me back, with the Tyco track and the adapter the angle might be raisonable, they were made for Turbo train which is quite lounger than a regular car and unerneath of it,and came, i guess with 44x2 chassis which is similar to SRT or Super G .
Is there anyone ever try it?.

A few years ago I made 4 lane Artin banked with a section I want to reproduce on Tomy scale, a lot a people told me that could not be made and did not work, I had to admit it take a few tests and works very well.
You can see it on: Montréal kijiji - piste de course Artin 1/32( sorry for my french language on it, I can translate if you need info. And it is on sale.

After a few tests unfortunate, the lates thing i tried it was a flex track to make that specific spot, it did not really work as i planned, but i will take the idea of raising 1 section, well it a good idea and works and i thought something else, it make me enought room to put ho train... so i went racing to a friend and it works pretty fine, i like the idea sometimes run throught it, it is a little maniac but it is really fun...and of course not do every 5 min, it could damage some precious cars...

HumpTrack

Postby Ralphthe3rd » Mon Apr 21, 2014 11:30 pm

FYI- their was a Hump track made by Mattel(TYCO) for their year 2000 & 2001 Jeremy McGrath X-Treme Motocross set that race dirtbikes(Big 1/24 size- not the little ones). They had two size humps and a jump for this Motocross track, the small hump is too small, but the larger *four piece hump will probably clear most HO scale slotcars. The track is molded in light brown color, and you have to use a Tyco to Tomy set of adapters, but I think it will work. I have a few of these tracks but never used the humps, but I'll check them out tomorrow and see if they clear the cars....

McGrath Large Hump pic

Postby Ralphthe3rd » Tue Apr 22, 2014 7:46 am

I dug out my old McGrath MX track and set up the large Hump....
Image
From Mattel/Tyco yr 2000 & 2001 Jeremy McGrath X-Treme Motocross set, the Large Hump track....makes a nice Bridge :) The hump itself is actually 4 pieces, and this track was designed for use with Tyco/Mattel 440x2 Chassis, as thats what powered the MX Bikes with the chassis hidden in the brown cover beneath the bikes.
Sooooo....if you get some adapter tracks for Tomy (or Auto World) to Tyco, you can add this hump ! :handgestures-thumbup:

Hi

thanks for the answer and for the picture, i did not know they made that , they s look like at Tyco Twin turbo train made a few years ago, they were grey with black line like a railroad,
Did you tried a SRT a Super G plus for Tomy, the chassis is little bit lower than a 440 X2 chassis?
Are they for sale?

Hi
thanks for all the infos, it is really appreciate, i Wonder if you do the reverse: 2 pieces of humps going down, a few strait than the rest of them going up or to the next level,, if you go to the section for sale Large layout Artin, you will see what i have in mind,
thanks again

finally i will go with the idea of raising some sections suggested by Dreinecke and BIG E, after some test made with my racing friend that is the best thing to do.
