yes this is just something you can`t do much about, unless you make a jig of some sort to strap the chassis to, and use hot water to heat it. Even then, they tend to sometimes revert back to wonky. Both of mine were straightened, the dodge had already started to twist back b4 I sent it. Best I could do with these products, so it is what it is. BTW, this is only 1 of the many flaws these JL AW products have, The Dash, or original Aurora tjet are a much better racer IMO,and the price is about the same with some searching.
this probably being the most noticeable issue, however like the bigger cars with magnets, this isn't such a problem to play with, as the magnet pulls the chassis to the track which in turn masks most of the problem. But once the magnet comes out, hold on tight ! This also can be addressed somewhat by peening the axle holes, but again this is a temporary fix.
