I like em all! Nice work. As an aside, there's a dark green 1:1 Matador of this same body style up the street from me...I always enjoy seeing it when I pass by. I keep thinking it would look great painted orange with a black out hood! LOL.

Your street Matador is sharp!

I gave out some wrong info on the #12 car. After checking a NASCAR history book, I was reminded that Bobby Allison did drive a Matador for Roger Penske but it was the #16. Later he drove his own Matador #12 with the same paint scheme. He won races in both cars. Thought you might enjoy that bit of trivia.

Years ago(days of my youth) there was a Bobby Allison car model kit out of the red/white/blue Matador in #12 I think? Not sure if they have repopped this model kit again or not? My cousin had it when we were kids and I remember him building it. I always loved the paint scheme just like I love the red/white/blue paint schemes on the Trans Am Javelins also!!!!!

I've always liked AMC, especially the Matador. I had to go and find my Dave Marcis photo, from the '73 Daytona 500. I took this pic with an "Instamatic" camera. The kind with the 126 cartridge....Point, shoot, then drop it off at Fotomat.

We had a photomat booth at the corner of our street. Pretty cool concept in their day. Not sure where all those little buildings ever ended up?
