Two things I'm not, a carpenter, or a photographer.... Here's a few pics of the oval I came up with.

I got the heavy duty eight foot plastic base from my son. The company he works for picks up storage containers at auctions and refurbishes them. It was in one of the containers.


The boards extend a foot on each side of the base, so the whole thing is ten feet long.
I just finished putting the track together, nothing is secured yet. ALMOST!

Great Looking oval!! I bet you can let them stretch their legs on that one.

Nothing like taking a sows ear and making it into a silk purse so to speak about your basement you commented on! Now you have a very nice enjoyable addition to that basement now......

If we lived closer I would be over to turn laps with you!!!!

We have a lot of the same likes in old coupes and dirt track cars!
