When I had first seen a Hot Wheels "Poppa Wheelie" car, I hated it. But when I found out they were plastic bodied, I had to do something with it. So here are a few of my Poppa conversions. ....ALL of them together cost me less than $5 (talk about a cheap hobby).

Here's the original with the first conversion.
The wing was cut and narrowed, from the rear deck of a HW Maximum Leeway




Then did a blue one (not quite done).


Then sort of a rat rod truck. The hood is the roof that was removed.


Then back to the first one to do over. Front is from a broken AFX Grand Prix car.

WOW! Those make for some wild looking conversions!

Now those are "SWEET" ! :text-goodpost: I love your clever adaptation and execution and end results. I had seen another conversion of the Poppa Wheelie HW Car on another forum, but yours beat it by far ! Awesome :text-bravo:

Agree wit RIII, blue one is my fav also. But, I'm looking at the possibility of making Coach bodied Dirt Modifieds out of these????

BUT, this is what happens when you have "one" to many Poppa Wheelie bodies AND "one" to many beers....Never finished it.
