Anyone use Slot Dragon Racing Systems?

I've been looking for a reliable, full-featured lap timing system for my 2-lane AFX layout (not a drag strip, a race track). This one looks pretty good. Does anybody have experience with this system?

It's a good system for drag racing. I have not kept up to know if they also cover circle track racing.

Has anyone heard from the owner? I emailed twice and never heard back. Seems like the website is updated, at least from Aug.

I don't know where the review is either, one more ghost in my machine. I'll check my server when I get to the Skunkworks.

Looks like he has a good presence at SCI. Try contacting him there.

From all the reports I have heard, it's a decent low cost system. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but to me that is sometimes a good thing :)

It's a good system.Just used it for the Possum Hollar drags.It can also be used for circle track.
Once you get the eyes set it is good to go.You will need a light source for the eyes.

I am trying to reply to Harry about not responding to emails but all I can find is this "quick reply" button underneath several posts. What if I need more time? Makes me mad. Anyway if you get this Harry, did you use the AOhell address or Yahoo? What ever happened I am pretty mad about it. I had to stop using the gmail address because some Honda company in Mississippi kept bombarding it with emails saying that I owe them money. I wrote them back and explained that I have never been to Mississippi but to no avail. Really makes me mad. SCI boycotted me as they said I have anger issues. Yeah that makes me mad too. I will check this forum tomorrow for your reply and hopefully I can get to the bottom of this debacle. I open my emails and read all my spam, I'm an analog man. Oh! And thanks to all you cats that said so many cool things about Dragon Racing Systems.

I have just received my original SD1 back from Daniel having sent it to him to be upgraded to SD2 specs. The original worked great but the SD2 has all sorts of extra bells and whistles. You can find all the info you need on his website www.slotcardragon.com . There are videos of how the different features work and tech on installation and set up. I'm in Marlborough, MA and his update service is out in Portland, OR the turn around was one week or less. Super service!
I was kind of surprised that no one mentioned Dan's Joe Walsh "Analog Man" reference.
