Anyone know what this is?

Hi All,
Does anyone know what type of car this is? It came in a lot that I bought off of eBay. The body mounts look similar to Tyco, but a Tyco chassis won't fit on the body. The chassis has 2 guide pins. Both pins have a large disc on the bottom sos that it won't drop into a normal slotted track. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Greg

It looks like a Ideal-Majorette "Mk 3" slot car chassis and Firebird body. But I can't be certain.
Majorette is a French company that bought Ideal Toys here in America when it went under. They continued production of Ideal's slot car and TCR: Total Control Racing (slotless) systems until not many years ago under their own name, and they own the rights to the "TCR" name internationally. Long after slotless racing was killed off by radio control cars here, it continued to thrive in Europe.
Majorette continued to evolve both systems and their slotless and slot car chassis are similar in order to cut tooling costs. The Mk 3 version came out in the early 1980's from what I have learned. There was also a MK 4 version later that continued to the end of production.
Not much of the Majorette line was imported, and there has been so much slot car stuff available here that it was pretty much lost in the shuffle.

Thanks for the help guys!!!
Although it isn't exact to either, I still think it looks most like the Artin.
I Googled MAJORETTE & the chassis is similar, but the pick up shoes look different & the guide pin looks more like a larger scale guide flag without the braid (I don't want to steal any one else's pictures, so take a look on eBay & you will see what I mean).
I will have to try a guide pin on the chassis & see how it runs.

The Wall Climbers were slightly different from regular Artin HO cars, note the green windings on the armature VS the red windings on the regular car.
