Action Jackson Speedway Friday 2-5-16 racing action!

Had a great time racing at Rusty Jackson's "Action Jackson Speedway" last night and as an added bonus, Slot Therapist and Gonegonzo were able to join in on the fun on the smooth routed Corian 4x16 track!

Racing started with the Johnny Lightening / AutoWorld Corvette "IROC" race. These are JL / AW chassis cars with aftermarket wheels/tires and shoes added. The cars are color coded to the lanes, so each driver drives the same car/lane combination through the rotation - it definitely makes some good close racing action! :D
We had ten racers join in the fun last night, to keep things simple, we were divided up into two 5 person heats.
The first heat was composed of:
Flash
Jim
Terry (Slot Therapist)
Tom (Gonegonzo)
myself
The second heat was composed of:
Russel
RJ
Steve
Breadman
Alex

When the laps were all tallied - the results shook out as follows:

Definitely some good close racing - only a four lap spread between the entire field! :o
:banana-dance:
The main event for the evening was Super Stock T-jets!
The five racers per heat format was used here as well - with heat one composing of:
In : Jim with his orange Chevy Corvette
In : Terry (Slot Therapist) with his pink and yellow Lambo
In : Tom (Gonegonzo) with his orange Chevy Corvette
In : Russel with his green/gold Chevy Camaro
Steve with his sharp looking Chevy Camaro (which had to be switched out for his blue Toyota JGTC shortly after the start) coming in on yellow lane at the first rotation.

Steve's "substitute" car for the Camaro:

Heat two was made up of:
In : Flash with his yellow Audi(?)
In : Breadman with his pink Mitsubishi EVO
In : Alex with his two tone green Nissan
In : RJ with his black Chevy Corvette
My white Dodge Challenger coming in on yellow lane at the first rotation.
