The first race was a two minute per lane "qualifier" race, after which the racers were realigned by finishing order to set the field for the four minute per lane "main" race.
We had nine racers total, so to keep things simple, the drivers were divided into two groups (five and four)
The first heat for the "qualifier race" contained:
In yellow lane: Russel with his orange Dodge Challenger
In blue lane: Breadman with his grey Mitsubishi EVO
In white lane: Jim with his orange Lamborghini Gallardo
In red lane: John with his green Chevy Corvette
Terry with his yellow and pink Lamborghini Gallardo coming in on yellow lane at the first lane rotation.
Heat two was made up of:
In yellow lane: RJ with his black and orange Chevy Camaro
In blue lane: Alex with his slick STP Audi R8
In white lane: My white Dodge Challenger R/T
In red lane: Steve with his white and orange Nissan

With the qualifier in the books - it was on the the 4 minute per lane action! Going from 2 to 4 minutes doesn't sound like much of a difference - but it definitely changes the dynamic / rhythm of things! :)
