Was up on Long Island for a week to help my friends pack a truck as part of their move to NC. I was able to get a little T Jet running and tuning with my friend Pete at his North Cedar Raceway after packing & loading the truck. We were having a slight problem with crowd control though .

When asked to leave by track security he threatened to eat the light tower.

After awhile our spectator decided the view from the short straight may be better.

He certainly wanted to grab one. I'll post some better pictures of the track & scenery next week after I get back from my banzai run to NC.

well they go a lot faster than a mouse so maybe needed to get in a little practice to get the fast mouse that got away or maybe the cat just wanted to run a car around the track too.

:D
Cats love slot cars!!!!
I can remember our cat "Misty" doing the same thing when I'd be out on the track running laps for car reviews....
....He is considerably older now and "allows" me to have my track time to myself nowadays....

Our new cat just came down to the RMS Skunkworks for the first time the other evening. He sat about halfway up the stairs watching the cars. His head was going back and forth like at a tennis match. He didn't go after them, but he now knows they are there. He's very playful though, so I expect he'll try at some point. I keep the door closed to keep him off the track...I don't feel like finding my tiny people walking around the layout with gnawed off heads...
