Guy's I thought there was a review on this set here but I can't find it..Got one coming for cheap.Why,because always wanted a Dukes set.. ;) If I remember right it is a decent set,needs better controllers and maybe a little tuning to the cars.Any one out there had experience with this set? About what size area is needed for the stock set?

Is is the curvehugger one?
the tracks are brown, it could fit a 36 inch by 80 inch, came with some 15 inch , 9 r 1/ 4 curves and 1 special track ""intersection"", the transfo and controller are good enough, but if you want more power just try Tomy transfo.

That is the one..Plan on up dating the controllers at first..Sounds like it will fit on a hollow core door which will be perfect..

Let me know if i was right for the 36 inch by 80 inch and could fit a hollow cor door... For the controllers, i used 45 ohms Parma and works really great., you will have some fun with the jump...

I haven't tried it but heard that the AFX controller is a good, inexpensive controller for the Auto World race sets. Be sure to let us know your thoughts on the race set.

The afx/tomy will plug right up..I think I gave all of that stuff away,but will look.
I've got a couple of Parmas and some tyco if needed..
Now I need Boss Hogg's caddy,Cooter's pickup,Daisy's Jeep,Uncle Jessy's truck,etc.. ;)
Need to find some old Ertl diecast..

Rusty - looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the set once you have it set up! I have been kicking around snagging one of those and have some of the new 120 ohm TOMY controllers already (they are a GREAT addition - especially for driving non-mag stuff like T-jets, etc!)

Got the set in and did a quick set up.Upgraded the controllers to some TOMY AFX right away.AW are kinda like a on/off button.Rosco's car had a little trouble right off.Running ruff so I Missed the jump and away went one of the springs..Did I ever tell you how much I hate those little things.Got lucky and found the spring.Took Rosco apart and did a little tuning.Now he runs like a Hazzard police car should.Fast,but not as fast and the General. ;)
Set is a decent little fun set.Plus it is the Duke Boys.. :dance:
Hope to do a little landscaping and maybe add to it..
Couple of pictures.As of now all we have extra is the Boars Nest..
At least the boys can get a cold one..

Well if ya ever wanted a Dukes set,they have some at a good price now..
This one is as much fun as we had hoped.The jump works well as does the cars.
Hope to expand a little and add to it over time.Cool thing about HO
is that Hot Wheels type cars fit right in.
That was my 1st race track.. :auto-driving:
