Stopped by North Cedar Raceway this afternoon to see my friend Pete. We decided to run a few laps but had problems again with our previous spectator. While I was running warm up laps he was getting too close to the track. Track Security escorted him from the track when he couldn't produce a ticket stub.

He decided to solve the race watching problem by climbing a nearby pole.

Security approached him again but he pointed out the fact he was no longer on track property.

That is hilarious! Our cat just found my track and cars a few weeks ago. I usually keep him out of the dungeon. He enjoyed watching them and thankfully stayed off the track.

That is a heck of a Man-Cave, BTW! I love the display case with the vintage stuff.

That's a lot of old TJet Vibrator bodies on that one shelf. I've not seen so many yellow Mercedes roadsters since Vibrators were in stores!

Our cats are a bit odd. When they visit me in the shop, the track is more interesting that the things running around on the track. They walk around, sniffing and pawing, then sit and watch the cars go by. Then they are bored and go out the back door to go kill something.

Remember... the only thing on a cat's or cuddly soft kitten's mind is murder!

Pete appreciates all the comments regarding his setup and "spectator ".
He did say now that Apollo has made it to HRW he struts around with an attitude "that his litter box don't stink".

Yeah, Frank, after last night's race session Pete said we're gonna have to get the water spray bottle goin' again. It works upstairs, so now Apollo figures he can come down and rip up the raceway. He tore a couple of the planes down off the fishing line !
On the other hand, I straightened out the wheel/tire combos on his two supermods and we had some hot 'n' heavy running for the rest of the night. Roger showed and we had the sedans and coupes goin', too.

that is a big cat, me I am a dog person, been allergic to cats since I was a kid, funny thing I can go to a house with cats and they will not leave me alone, even if its one of those cats that hate strangers, it will jump up in my lap, I think they know I am allergic and just want to make me sneeze :hand:
