Just finishing the excavating for my new roadcourse pic below. Paving to start next week and hope to finish up in a month or so.



Ground clearing and excavating will be underway shortly for a 1/4 mile dragstrip to fit in the complex. Design has been finalized and hope to start paving in 8 weeks or so. A HO Drag Proxy is in the planning for late summer and early fall if the paving gets finished before the snow flies

What brand Rick?

I`ve had a MaxTrax ordered since April, expecting mid to late june delivery. I have the table as finished as I can until I get the track on it. Then I will box it in.

Mine was $400.00 for the kit: track (Sintra), rails, lock wire & dog bones cut out to be put in to tie the track together, a tool to install locking wire and a bottle of super glue for rail ends.
3 X 10 footprint Living in an apartment doesn't give me much room and don't know where the drag strip is going and it should be coming soon.

wow.... great deal Rick, I had originally planned to try to route a track myself. Bought the bit, & wire. But after doing the 1/32 track I had enough of that business. So getting feedback from a lot of enthusiasts, I decided on Max. It actually topped out around 2100.00 with add ons, but was able to pay for the complete track with sales of slots. yippie !!

Rick - that looks like it is going to be a FUN track! Looking forward to added progress pictures!

Mark - looking forward to seeing a build thread on your track as well!

A great looking track Rick, you have really done a fantastic job. Anxious to get your feelings on the drive and feel. I have yet to drive on a smooth purpose built plastic track, Raced on a 8 lane wood track at AJ's when I was about 13 in a international invitational (WOW) race, I can`t wait myself to have a H O scale track that fits with the size the cars have progressed to. Room for clean passing, and no click-clack. :D
