New Fray Track for Me!

Postby ChallengerGuy » Sat Feb 02, 2013 12:09 am

This is fun! It's a continuous rail T-Jet fray test track by Dan Cronin. Dan shipped it up from San Diego. Talk about plug and play. All I had to do was buy a folding table from Lowes and hook up my power supply. Done!

Here's how it arrived! (Yikes, I need to refinish my hardwood floors this summer!)

Nicely packed!!

Hey look, it fits in the living room!

While I do not wish divorce on anyone, let's just say there is nobody to say I can't set it up in the living room!

I built this house back in 1978. It's brown since I was into WWII model airplanes at the time and had that color paint.

See, I need to tune my cars, the wheels are falling off! So fun though!

So fun. Now that I can no longer blame the track, it looks like I will be spending DAYS trying to tune some cars to match up. Nice problems to have.

I will be buying a 4x16 HO track from Dan down the road. His work is flawless.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks Rusty. I am having fun with it. It's super easy to setup and take down. I can't wait to get my cars in a decent state of tune and hook up the slot dragon to it. Feedback on lap times is crucial.

Very nice indeed. I raced on a big track like that years ago.

It ruined me :) Once you run TJ's on a track like that it just happens. Guess the same can be said for the bigger toys too.

Looks like you know how to decorate a living room. You need to go on HGTV and have your own show.

You guys are right, that tv would make a great laptimer monitor. Too funny. It's a fun two laner for sure. I can't wait until Daniel's Slot Car Dragon photo eyes come - the xmas tree start and red LED time readouts wil be awesome. And after looking at Brad Bowman's tracks on FB, I will go hog wild with a nice 4x12 or 4x14 layout. I just sold a pinball machine today so slot money is available. I have to say that it was sure nice watching the superbowl and having to look OVER my track the whole time. Too much fun.
