5 lap qualifying is done
Note, no cars were taken part or opened up. My #4 mustang changed to #4X, Normans #16 changed to #65

#16 love this car, weight 21.0 grams fast lap time 4.86
#1 Nice running car weight 21.9 grams fast lap time 4.89
#41 to fast, hard to handle at top speed weight 21.9 grams fast lap time 4.95
#6 a blue streak, easy to drive, weight 20.9 grams fast lap time 4.99
#3 Lots of brakes, track pick ups made into "ski shoe" pick ups ????, weight 21.7 grams fast lap time 5.01
# 88 my pick to win the race. weight 21.4 grams fast lap time 5.02
#5 rear tires in question, inside rear of body removed but ok as now the same as others. weight 22.1 gramsfast lap time 5.05
#98 nice setup, super quite weight 21.4 grams fast lap time 5.12
#76 runs nice and drives easy, weight 21.7 grams fast lap time 5.13
#65 nice running car weight 21.4 grams fast lap time 5.19
#4X very smooth and quite, weight 21.2 grams fast lap time 5.36
#56 front screw rubs on the track, very bouncy, may be to much spring ? weight 21.7 grams fast lap time 5.55
#4 easy to drive wide open weight 21.4 fast lap time 5.74
#67 body rubbing on rear gear, I loosen up front body screw after qualifying and car pick up speed and handling, weight 21.6 fast lap time 5.99

Anyway, here are the results of the first leg of the HO Trans - Am Proxy:

# 56 - 69.12 Laps
#67 - 73.22 Laps
#65 - 74.3 Laps
#4 - 75.7 Laps
#4X - 78.12 Laps
#1 - 79.2 Laps
#6 - 79.14 Laps
#76 - 80.6 Laps
#5 - 80.7 Laps
#16 - 81.9 Laps
#98 - 82.11 Laps
#41 - 82.15 Laps
#88 - 84.13 Laps

And the winner is :auto-driving:
#3 - 85.7 Laps

I’m new to the T-Jets so a quick question, why are the tires so stretched out compared to the bodies? Are these standard tjet chassis?

They are the standard chassis, the rules allow for aftermarket tires and wheels.
These sets are much more smooth running compared rptomthe stock tires and wheels. They are wider for more stability.
The apparant exception is my No# 56 Chevy. :D

Looking at the 6 and 76 cars the wheel look like they’re really get forward and rearward of the wheel wells.

I believe it may be due to how close camera was to the cars when the picture was taken. If you just have the camera close to the car (instead of using the zoom), you can get a bit of a fish eye effect where will make the wheels look like they are not centered in the wheel wells - since the #16 is mine, I can tell you for certain that the wheels are aligned with the opening. :)
