I love the smell of a new slot car set in the morning..... :D
Ran across this deal on the AW web site. They have the sets down to $75 plus free shipping if you order $100 or more..If you stay on the site for a little ,you will also get 10% off.The set has 14 feet of track along with Three cars.I needed some more track to set up with my Diecast and at this price you are just about getting the track for free..Yes I know I needed this,no mater what others may think.... ;)
Here are some pictures of the simple layout we slapped together.Moved the Carrera GO to another table......Table is a little over 4 x12..
Have fun..
Rusty

This reminded me that the main target audience for slot car stuff is kids. Sometimes during the fun conversations we get into here about cars being released, or not, and quality issues, I actually forget folks like us are an important but fringe part of the overall market.
Yes, CG Slotcars, NSR, Thunderslot, and even Pioneer have a different marketing plan than AW, but it's all still slot cars. And it's about having fun.

Rusty,
I always enjoy reading your posts. Is the Auto World catalog worth getting? I have two of the original Auto World catalogs and was wondering if the new ones have some cool stuff to look at.
