This is a great technique!
A couple of questions: Do you have problems spreading the body enough to engage the body mounts on the chassis tabs? They are much deeper than the stock mounts that just clip on the edge of the tab.
What is your method for positioning the new mounts in the body and adjusting its position before gluing -- epoxy, super glue, or ?
Thanks in advance,
Rick V.

I use epoxy glue to attach mounts of that sort. I put a little oil on the chassis to avoid gluing the mounts to the chassis. I put the mounts on the chassis and put the glue on the body before I lower it in place. With the body, mounts and chassis on a track section I put spacers under the front and back of the body to get the correct clearance and position before the glue has a chance to set.
