Here is my version of the classic V8 car that Bill Slater drove, mostly in the Northeast, back in the '60s. The car has an Aurora A/FX chassis with JW's front wheels and a rewound armature by DC HO Motors.

Another fine example of HOCOC Coupes (modifieds).
These guy's have been buildingcars like this for close
to 40 years.I can see there is going to be some tough
competition for Best Appearing Car award at the
Vintage Celebration event.

I haven't raced slots in 45 years. I REALLY want to get back to it. I used to race 1/24 scale modifieds in Springfield, MA.....I see what people like you are doing with HO scale and you guys are messing me all up, I'm starting to lean towards these. That car is soooo very cool!

Hey Sweet,

I see your a Rene Charland fan. If you like Modifieds and stock car racing
from yesterday to today this is the group you might want to touch base
with. Names like Desarro, Evans, Stevens, Cleary are household names
with these guy's.
