This will be the first race of the HOCOC 2013-2014 season. It is hard to believe that I have been hosting races on my track for twelve years.

Years ago HOCOC had an SK Modified class forTyco and Lifelike cars, at the Sizzler the new Whelen Modified class will make its debut. This Spring I built a car for the new class, which is based on the Aurora Magnatraction and JL/AW X-Traction chassis. The new car runs well, but I always like to have a backup/loaner car so I did this one as well.

The Sizzler is only a little over a week away. For this year's edition I have added color coded driver's stations from Slot Car Corner and a pair of Mastech 20 amp power supplies to replace the old Lambda supplies.
