Ed Bianchi builds slider tracks, HOCOC is doing its first race of the season at the end of the month and I might inquire about slide guides at that time. If you are in a rush there is contact information included in the flyer for the Fall Brawl in the HO section.

Are you racing with normal pick up shoes? What king of cars can be driven?

Slider tracks have braid instead of rails and the slots are a little wider than standard HO track slots. People use slide guides on these tracks, but I have raced on several slightly banked slider ovals using regular cars with no problems. I did run on a steeper banked oval several times and had problems with regular shoes wanting to burn.

We found that with the flush track braid that we had to adjust our regular pickup shoes somewhat. A few people did not get the right combination. If the shoes were perfect you could get through a whole race with no problems. If the shoes were a little off you might have to polish the shoes after each heat.

Ed plans on building a batch of these Wingmaster Sprints, so I expect that the website will have to be updated to include those. Quite a few websites are automated with a shopping cart and checkout, HO Race Pro is not one of those, but niether is Scale Auto or Wizzard.

Sent off an order with check as requested and still haven't heard from Ed and check hasn't been processed.. Anyone talked to him lately ??

Ed may be at my place for a race in another week. Hopefully your order will be filled by then, but I will inquire.
