Isn't the iwheels just the new name for the "White Lightnings" or the limited edition cars? Like the chrome and white tire ones?

I think the iwheels or white lightnings are very much like hot wheels treasure hunts in that they are limited editions.
I think one is inserted in a case of cars when they are shipping from the manufacturer if memory serves me correct?
