Glued on tires ?

I race Scalextric Trans-Am cars on a Carrera track. My rear tires seem to come off a bit after a crash !
Suggestions for what type of glue is needed.
We ran 2 races today...I came in 4th of 11 in 1st race and 3rd out of 9 in the 2nd race.
The 2 guys that ALWAYS come in the top 2 are untouchable. Their cars seem so much faster than the rest of us. We have checked all cars and all are "stock" motors.

On a stock wheel I would use clear nail polish.

If the tires are loose rather than sloppy, el cheapo hair spray as used to install motorbike handle bar grips. Takes a while to dry.

With silicone tires we glue them on with household clear silicone. This with you can reused the tire when needed.

If you use glue that is too thick it will be difficult to spread it around evenly. If the glue is not even the tire will be distorted and will have to be trued for the best performance. Some tires are easy to true, but Super Tires are quite difficult to true. Even with a more sophisticated machine, like a Hudy, truing a distorted Super Tire is a tedious business. Most of the guys that I race with use IC2000. IC2000 does not keep well, it is best to store it in a refrigerator.
