Here is my hand routed MDF track. Each lane is braided with 4.25 inch spacing and measures about 75 feet in length with a bank turn at the end of the front straight. The track is powered by a LOKO Model # DPS-400GL which delivers an adjustable amount of voltage from 4 to 18 volts, and 18 amps continious and max to 30 amps. The scoring is done by Trakmate, and each driver station is equipped with a toggle switch to reverse the car direction, three 1/4" bolts to attach a controller and also a three prong plug to connect the controller. I inserted two small plastic containers to house a small oil and tire glue applicator. The track is also equipped with a soda bar and some booths to relive the good old days. Thanks for Looking.
Hay Where is the juke and the soda jerk, that is the only thing missing for the blast from the past feel. What a great man cave you got there everything but a juke and a soda jerk, MAN I'M OFFICIALLY REAL JEALOUS
Thanks for all the great feedback, and yes i do need a jukebox to finish everything off. It needs a 1960 Seeburg to match the wall boxes and that would make everything functional.
HA HA I know where he is and I plan on trying to look him up if I get down his way again. His ISMA supermod builds are fantastic I'd love to see them in person :banana-rock:
