After checking out of the hospital, we headed to the rehab center, arriving about 7 PM. The first question was, Have you eaten?" Of course we had not, so the arrival interview was conducted in a very nicely appointed dining room.
Next I was shown my room. I just knew it was my room immediately as it was # 425. I do believe that was the "advertised horsepower" of just about every factory hot rod from 1963 to 1970!
My room is very nice with a very comfortable bed, TV and other amenities.
On the way to my room I saw a huge Tv in a free area. I might have to see if I can "arrange" to view "The Daytona Duels" tomorrow evening.
Now if I can spot a slot car track at this facility . . . .
