Taking it easy tonight, so decided to just run some cars :)



All 3 different, but each with it's own style and fun to drive.

Fun to just relax and enjoy them.

I have run sometimes at 3 am, WHY , because I can if I want ,Home sweet home,
and this place NEVER closes.
Is that a 57 ford in 32 scale, could you tell where I could get one ?

Love the modified...........reminds me of Don Mclaren's #3 at the Pines Speedway back in the '60's! Great looking car!



But everybody's favorite was Ollie Silva's "The Big O". That would make a great modified build.......................little hint................ :D



Ollie ran injectors when everyone else was running carbs. Note the banked oval track front tire configuration........

The modified racing used to be great up there at the Pines, Ollie Silva, Don McLaren, Lee Allard, Bently Warren, and a host of others; both A class (modifieds) and B class (Bombers).

Those were the days...............................

Talk about a blast from the past, I rember seeing Ollie Silva race at Thompson Speedway in 1963.

I used to watch Ollie drive supers for Clyde Booth at Star Speedway. He might have had a car on the Bryar Motorsport Park half mile oval, Loudon, when I was there in 1968, but I'm not sure. Ollie could drive anything with wheels.

It is fun to tune out everything else around you, and just run the cars around!

I did see those bodies before, I had a body with full wheel wells in
mind, because my road course is tight in places and tricky for open
wheel cars. Not that I'm complaining, just part of the excitement.
