Thanks all, for the kind regards for my mum.

She is recovering in hospital and may be there for another week. I am home now, but prepared to head back down to the hospital in London if I need to. My sister, Ellen, lives next door to her, and has been great during this worrying times and is keeping us up to date with her progress.

Since we have been home I have done 3 complete timed runs with the cars, and am learning a lot from having them here to drive on Little Monte. After this I will have a much better idea of the kinds of cars and tyres that will be needed for the next proxy.

It also gives me a time to aim for when trying out new cars. One car did a 24.97 second lap today. I will have to see how that compares with any non Carrera GO cars as i build them.

I think my first test will be with an HO motored Artin chassis with 13" wheels and skinny tires! Oh, and a pin guide.
