Question on using two Carrera Power Track Sections

Postby SlotCarsMag » Wed Apr 15, 2015 1:34 am

Has anyone used two of the Carrera 1/24 power track sections to supply more voltage to the farther away section of a track, instead of wiring up the Jumper Cables from Carrera?
I would think that if split the power from the power supply (after market, 10amp) and wire up two Carrera power track sections, that would work.
Or, is there some sort of wiring in the track section, that takes the power from the transformer/power supply, and it only is distributed by the controllers?

This is the way I think.
Different, and yes, I may be a bit underedumacated, that's just me... :-)

Or, would I have to stick to using under the track the Carrera, or my own, jumper cables/wiring?

Thanks in advance

No it will not work, the power goes through the controller. You can wire 2 power supplies together to get more amps.

Jumpers are the best
Make your own with 14 gauge wire
Strip an inch and stick in the open slots under the track
Add a glob of hot glue to hold
