Scalextric marshall's hut

Postby ListerStormGT » Thu Apr 16, 2015 9:30 am

So I picked this up off eBay about a year ago and it's been sitting on the track since. So with the other tower I have been building I finally decided to do something with this. So cleaned it up and painted it white started doing some detail on it today. Added some styrene corrugated roof to it as the original was cracked. Going to make it a Gulf sponsored hut.

Your track buildings are going to peg the cool meter! Great find, the vintage Scalextric scenery has a lot of appeal. I've been spending my nonexistent retirement fund on old plastic.

double thumbs up, especially using the Gulf theme!!

The Gulf colors really bring out the details of the building!!

Lee, glad to see you did this scheme. It looks great and pretty much how I had it pictured in my head after talking to you.

Nice one - now let's see it on the track ;)

GULF!!! That's what I'm looking for! Ah, the good ol' days... when Lee painted anything that wasn't moving in the best Gulf livery done by anyone, including Gulf. Good to see it, Lee.

Got most of the painting done last night. Just need to add decals and going to rust out the roof a little.
